Food 5/5 - I respect good Korean food so much. It sucks that I have to drive down to Cupertino to find it. It just felt like a family home cooked meal Service 5/5 - the servers were very attentive and would come by to our table multiple times to check in with us to make sure we liked the food. They would replace the side dishes if they ran low and filled up our water Ambiance 4/5 - nothing special but good space & lots of 3-4 ppl booths and tables

My entire life, I have come to Kong Tofu & BBQ as my comfort food. When I come back home from college, this is one of the first places I visit. The service is phenomenal and feels like you are part of a welcoming family. The amiance is peaceful and cozy. The side dishes are amazing! I always look forward to (and fight with my family for) the fish cakes and the japchae. I also love the seaweed and kimchi. There are free refills for all the side dishes, which I love. I mostly always order the Tofu Stew. Based on my past experiences, I would rate the Ramen Tofu Stew an 8.5/10 and the Pork Dumpling Stew a 9/10. I don't have a great spice tolerance. When I was younger, I used to always order "white" for spice level which was great for me and my younger sister. Now I get Mild usually which has a tiny bit of more flavor but isn't spicy. The Green Onion Seafood Pancake is also amazing, and one of my family's favorite orders. I always leave Kong's feeling full and satisfied. I have never had a bad experience here!

First time back here in many years. Was way better than what I remembered it. Kimchi Tofu Soup - 9/10. Intense flavor with good spice level. On the sweeter side. Beef tender. Side dishes - 7/10. Good variety of side dishes which I liked. Flavor wasn't as great on some but overall good. Cold noodle in broth - 9/10. Wanted to see more meat but apart from that, dish was spot on. Price and value average for the area. Ambiance lively Service fast.

Decided on a whim to try this spot. We were promptly seated when we walked in. We ordered: Seafood pancake: 5/5 super crispy and tasty! Beef soon tofu: 4/5 big thick pieces of beef compared to other tofu places. The soup itself could use more flavor but overall good. Oyster soon tofu: hubby said it was good. Kalbi ribs: 5/5 great flavor! I like how it's not too sweet. The banchans were tasty. Kids like the dried seaweed. Service was good at first but when it started getting busy it was hard to flag them down. Overall a good experience!
